Curriculum Vitae

Jack has been involved in Manual Medicine since 1998, when he received his Diploma of Integrated Bodywork (including Ayurvedic and Thai Yoga Massage). He subsequently studied Ayurvedic Medicine at the outset of the first College of Ayurvedic Medicine in the UK, obtaining further qualifications in Ayurvedic Bodywork. In 2005, after four years of full time study, Jack qualified as an Osteopath and Naturopath from BCOM in London.

Jack began his career by working on the injuries of dancers and musicians in London. He was invited to visit Cuba by the choreographer Roberto Molina, where his approach was noted for its efficacy. He also spent two years working alongside and being personally mentored by the world-renowned Osteopath, Mr Barrie Savory.

Jack is currently part of the Complementary Therapy Team at the Royal Free Hospital, where he treats patients with a wide variety of difficult neurological, rheumatological and musculoskeletal conditions. He also works closely with Mr Khai Lam, an Orthopaedic Surgeon at London Bridge Hospital, providing rehabilitation for patients after Cervical Disc Replacement operations. He has a particular interest in chronic pain, whiplash and repetitive strain injuries and is referred cases of this nature by Orthopaedic Specialist Mr John Vanhegan.

Since qualifying, Jack has also added the modalities of Cranial Osteopathy, Acupuncture, Rehabilitation Pilates, Baby Massage and Indian Head Massage to his repertoire. He incorporates an extensive knowledge of Herbalism (Chinese and Western), nutritional supplements and health products, as well as offering exercise and lifestyle advice in order to promote optimum wellness. Furthermore, he has attained a degree in Art History from Warwick University. His interests include Tai Chi (Wu Style), Hatha Yoga (Shadow Style), Capoeira and Boxing. He also enjoys dancing, percussion, traveling, cooking and gardening.
